Feature and Follow #2 Movies into Books?

Q: Books are turned into movies all the time! Turn it around. What movie would make a great book?

Oh wow, this is a tough one, because most of my favorite movies started out as books, so I would have to think really hard to come up with one that has not already been a book. I think I will go with G.I. Jane. I loved that movie. I could see that being an excellent book. If I were to think in terms of television, I would probably go with something like Criminal Minds.

Q: Do you mind books with similar ideas to other books? Similar concepts, backgrounds, retellings or pulled-to-publish fanfic?
