I wanted to take a moment to let those of you that I have reviews pending for, as well as my few and faithful readers, that I have not fallen off of the face of the earth. Things have been a little crazy for me what with job change issues and some crazy finance situations have directed my attention away from books for a little while, but I am slowly getting back into the swing of things here.
Those of you close to me are aware of the personal situations I have been facing lately, and rest assured I am slowly on the uphill swing, but as this site does not generate any significant revenue (a few pennies here and there with the book links), I have had to spend some time finding a means to support my family, thus not being able to ensure the turnaround I would like to be having right now, and I am running about two weeks behind, give or take.
I am trying to get a few things rolling that will allow me to do more giveaways, and for those so inclined, if you would like to further this endeavor, please find the Paypal link above. I know there are other sites that employ selling advertising space to make their sites earn for them, and I would prefer not to do that at this time, but if the price were right, I might be willing to consider it in the future as needs arise.
If anyone does choose to donate via the paypal link, I am tossing around the idea of recognizing donors in some way or another. The details of this are not fully formed yet, as I have not decided how I am going to do so yet. At this point, I am considering a donor spotlight post every few weeks, although these are just ideas right now, as there have as yet been no donations, other than the person who helped me get started, and that donation was in the means of helping me acquire the domain name and set up my server, and housing my site on his own server. He knows who he is, and I may recognize him at some point in the future if I have his permission to do so.
I really want to make this site the best it can be, and I am not one to do anything just for what I financially get out of it, so please do not misunderstand. I have never and will never charge for reviews or for people to read here. That would go against everything I stand for.
I have had several people tell me that more giveaways will generate more traffic, and more traffic will mean better quality books to review. (Please do not misunderstand that as the books I have received for review are viewed as low quality, as that is not what I mean at all). Unfortunately, my finances thus far do not allow for me to be able to give away things that are not offered by the authors at this time. I would love to be able to give away paper books at some point, and I have a pile of them, but the shipping cost is prohibitive at this time.
Remember folks, that this site is for you as much as it is for me, and I am always open to suggestions. Please feel free to message me personally via the contact links if you have any questions, comments or suggestions for the site. And rest assured, you have not been forgotten and I will be posting more often here very soon.

I am scheduled for a Review/Give-away for my new book “The Color of Evil” for tomorrow, but take your time. The book has just won the Gold Medal for E-Lit awards, and I’ll happily send off a free copy of the E-book (rights which I own) to ten people who give me some feedback about what they’d like to see developing as this trilogy unfolds. Book 2, “Red Is for Rage,” is pretty well plotted, but Book 3 (Title TBD) is something YOU, the readers, can help shape. Who knows? If you’d like to be a new “good guy” character in Book 3, I can offer that PLUS an E-book. I do have paper copies and the site has been given some paper copies, but, like the author of this site, I, too, have issues with the mailing. Recently four books sent out (to 13 blogs) were never received. The books were all sent to Canada. (What’s going on, Canada?_ I did not get a isigned deliver because of expense, as it costs more to mail the book tto Canada than to purchase the book! I, too, have a blog (www.WeeklyWilson.com) and it makes $0.00, so I sympathize with the blog-meister here and I repeat: leave your thoughts about Book 3, or write me at EINNOC10@aol.com, and you might receive a free E-book copy!
Sincerely,
Connie (Corcoran) Wilson, M.S.
